Salary Range: $180,729 to $209,590 per annum pending experience + Super
As Manager, Student Wellbeing and Pastoral Services with Townsville Catholic Education, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the wellbeing and pastoral care framework that supports students across our school communities.
In this influential leadership role, you’ll provide strategic direction, operational oversight and expert advice to ensure high-quality, evidence-based support services that nurture the holistic development of every learner. Leading the Guidance Counselling and Pastoral Support teams, you’ll deliver a coordinated, system-wide approach that strengthens student outcomes and builds school capability.
You’ll work closely with senior leaders, Principals and school staff to develop and embed proactive, responsive and impactful wellbeing practices. As an authentic and inclusive leader, you’ll motivate and empower your team, fostering a culture of trust, collaboration and continual learning. With a balance of compassion and accountability, you’ll guide others through complex issues and model the values of integrity, empathy and care that underpin Catholic education.
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring extensive experience leading multidisciplinary teams in education, wellbeing or pastoral care settings, along with proven ability to design and implement strategic frameworks that enhance student outcomes. You’ll hold full registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA, postgraduate qualifications in psychology, and a current Driver’s Licence, with the ability to travel within the Diocese as required.
