About the role

Dah Cheong Smash Repairs is seeking an experienced Automotive Spray Painter to join their team in Granville, NSW. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work with a leading automotive services provider. As an Automotive Spray Painter, you will be responsible for providing high-quality paint finishes on a range of vehicles, ensuring the highest standards of workmanship.

What you'll be doing

Preparing vehicle surfaces for painting by sanding, masking, and cleaning

Selecting and mixing the appropriate paint colours and finishes

Applying paint to vehicles using spray painting equipment and techniques

Ensuring a smooth and consistent paint finish

Adhering to safety protocols and environmental regulations

Maintaining a clean and organised work area

Collaborating with the wider team to deliver exceptional customer service

What we're looking for

Formal qualification in automotive spray painting or equivalent experience

Proven track record of delivering high-quality paint finishes on a range of vehicles

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to achieving the best possible results

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a team environment

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Knowledge of safety protocols and environmental regulations in the automotive industry
