Leader Security is currently seeking experienced and reliable Security Officers and K9 Handlers to join our Mobile Patrol Team covering the Canberra/Queanbeyan region.

The Requirements

As a Patrol Officer, duties will include:

Ensuring that all patrol routes are completed in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures.

Responding to alarm activations in accordance with a specified time frame;

Responding to disturbances;

Preparing and submitting accurate and timely electronic reports;

Patrolling clients’ premises;

Problem identification and resolution.

Maintaining a high level of customer service with clients and staff.

Work with local law enforcement and other security professionals to ensure the safety of the public.

As a K9 Handler, these duties will extend to cover:

Attending weekly/fortnightly K9 Handler training.

Cleaning and maintenance of the K9 Kennels.

Exercising the K9's each shift & buidling a bond.

Feeding all K9's.

Taking designated K9's out on each shift and follow protocols and legistlation in the use of the K9.

Qualifications & Experience

Successful applicants must have:

Relevant experience within the Security industry

Excellent customer service skills

The ability to prepare and write reports

Flexibility to work on a 12-hour shift roster (including nights and weekends)

A valid Driver's License

A current and valid ACT & NSW Security License

Previous supervisor/leadership expereince desirable

Previous mobile patrols experience and/or security clearance will be highly regarded.
