In this role you'll provide essential and practical care to help older people live a comfortable and enjoyable life. Cooinda is an Aged Care Facility based in the town of Coonabarabran, employing almost 150 staff across many different roles! We have many career opportunities, and are always looking for people passionate about caring for others.

We are looking for Personal Care Workers to join our team before Christmas. Whether you are experienced or new to the industry, we provide thorough and supportive training as well as a great induction to the Aged Care industry and the expectations and rights of our beloved residents.

About the role

The care work you'll be doing may include:

Providing personal care - showering, toileting, dressing and other personal cares

Assisting during meal times, including feeding if required

Providing manual handling support to team members, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for other staff and residents

About you

You are empathetic, patient, and solutions focused

You may have previous experience in aged or community care, or are looking to start your career in aged care

Ideally, you'll have a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support, or an equivalent qualification. If you're not currently qualified and would like to be, you can complete your Certificate III at no cost to you!

Able to work a variety of shifts (0630-1500, 1445-2230, 2215-0700).
