🧡 What You'll Be Doing

Building trusting relationships with young people through one-on-one mentoring

Facilitating fun and purposeful activities that promote life skills, confidence, and wellbeing

Collaborating with families, schools, therapeutic supports, and community partners to provide holistic care

Keeping clear and accurate records to support the ongoing development of our programs

Being a positive role model and advocate for the young people in our care

🎓 What You Bring

Qualifications in Youth Work, Community Services, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field

A minimum of Certificate IV level qualification is required

Experience working with young people in residential, community, or youth development settings

A minimum of 1 year experience working with young people is required

Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport and trust

A deep understanding of the challenges faced by First Nations youth and a commitment to empowerment and inclusion

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

A current driver's licence, and willingness to complete a National Police Check and Working with Children Check

Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required for this position
