The Opportunity

Maven Partners has been engaged to identify and appoint a partner within the External Audit division of an international, multi-service, mid-tier firm.

Our client is very specifically seeking a new partner as part of their growth strategy.

The role will be pivotal to the future of the firm’s strategic value proposition, and will drive the continued growth and success of the external audit team.

Critical to the role will be extensive experience in an Australian context, significant local commercial networks and a demonstrated ability to actively grow an assurance practice.

Responsibilities

Manage an existing portfolio of audit clients - no need to bring fees across with you initially. There will be an ongoing growth mandate.

Manage, coach and mentor, a team of auditors.

Explore opportunities for growth within yours, and the firm’s, networks.

Manage stakeholder relationships.

Become part of the strategic decision making of a progressive firm.

Requirements

CA/CPA qualified.

Significant Australian experience within an external audit environment, preferably within a professional audit firm environment.

Excellent presentation, and communication skills.

Proven ability to manage and grow a portfolio of audit clients.

Please note this role will not support temporary residents or visa holders .
