South Pacific Resort Noosa is looking for a key person to be part of their Gardening and Maintenance team

South Pacific Resort is 4.5 star Resort situated on 5 acres of tropical grounds with 4 swimming pools, three spa's, tennis court and sauna. The complex is located at Noosaville on the Sunshine Coast. See: https://www.southpacificresort.com.au

What we are looking for:

Applicants with a background and passion for commercial gardens and garden maintenance including experience with pruning, mowing, hedging etc would be preferred. Applicants also require current manual driver's licence, be physically fit and must come with a strong work ethic. Some other skills that would be an advantage are listed below:

At least 12 months proven experience in a similar role.

Ability to handle a range of horticultural machinery and powered hand tools.

Friendly personality with excellent interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of plants and gardening techniques.

Solid understanding of health and safety rules and legislation

Some general maintenance experience.

Prior resort experience including Pool and Spa care

Although the roles main focus will be garden based, as mentioned above prior resort experience including Pool and Spa care and some general maintenance skills would also be an advantage. But Pool and Spa care training would be available for the right applicant.
