The Opportunity

We've had an exciting opening come up at Browns Plains Store and are on the lookout for an automotive mechanic / technician to join us.

In this full-time role you will play an important part in delivering a high-quality service in a role that is interesting and varied. Our store team members have a lot of pride in the work that they do, so we are on the lookout for an experienced individual who also shares this view and cares about the work they deliver.

Key Responsibilities

• Wheel alignment
• General repair of suspension and steering components
• Brake repairs
• Fault diagnosis
• Moderate electrical installations including towbars
• Liaise with customers

What You Bring To The Team

• Experience as a Mechanic and/or Brake Technician
• Have worked across different vehicle makes and models
• Full drivers' licence with ability to drive manual
• Strong verbal communication skills
• A team player with attention to detail
• Cert III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (preferred)
• Experience in basic wheel alignment (preferred)
• Minimum 3-5 years of automotive mechanic experience required
• Australian citizenship is required for this position
• Comprehensive brake repair experience across all brake systems is essential
