About the role

KRT Contracting Pty Ltd is seeking a full-time Heavy Combination (HC) Driver to join our road transport team based in Hope Valley, Western Australia. This is a permanent, full-time role, offering a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

What you'll be doing

Transporting structural steel & oversize plate, delivering to a variety of customers across the wider Perth area - using extendable trailers on multi drop delivery runs

Load restraint and strapping / chaining experience is preferred

Conducting pre-start checks, reporting any vehicle issues, and coordinating maintenance as required

Providing excellent customer service and on-time, safe deliveries

Completing detailed trip logs and customer paperwork

Working Monday to Friday, no public holidays or weekends in our usual roster

What we're looking for

Current Heavy Combination (HC) driver's licence

Experience operating Heavy Combination vehicles with synchromesh gearbox (NO AUTO APPLICATIONS PLEASE)

Drivers Medical and Fatigue Management Cert required

Strong organisational and time management skills

Demonstrated safe driving record and commitment to road safety

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Reliable and enthusiastic worker - we are a small family business looking for someone to enhance our busy team
