About the role

Join the vibrant retail team at Priceless Art as a Sales Assistant. In this casual role, you will be based in our store located at 260 South Road, Hilton, delivering exceptional customer service and assisting customers with their purchases. Your passion for home styling and design, together with your excellent sales skills, will be key to driving sales and ensuring our customers have a memorable shopping experience.

What you'll be doing

Providing friendly and attentive customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience

Assisting and advising customers in identifying the ideal piece of artwork that suits their space and colour scheme

Maintaining store presentation and visual merchandising standards

Handling cash and processing transactions accurately

Restocking and replenishing products as needed

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a face-to-face retail role, preferably in interior design/ home styling, or home furnishings, is essential.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for providing advice, together with excellent customer service

Keen eye for detail and ability to maintain high standards of store presentation

Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays

Minimum 2 years of face-to-face retail experience is preferred, but not essential

Experience with cash handling and POS systems

Must have unrestricted working rights in Australia

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift items to 15kg
