About this role

At UMS, finding individuals who are the right fit for our team and our culture is essential. We are looking for positive, motivated individuals to join our growing retail team in Adelaide. We are looking for enthusiastic People to join our team in a Casual position, with full time availability required in January and Beginning of February.

We are offering $33.19 per hour on a Casual basis. Saturdays are paid at overtime rates.

Located at our Melrose Park shop, Para Vista and Firle Locations

The shop hours are Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm with extended trading to 7pm on selected fitting nights

Saturday mornings from 9am to 12pm. Our Saturday morning trade is shared between our team on a rotational basis.

Some offsite work may be required with another senior staff Member

Key Responsibilities:

Provide excellent customer service and communicate professionally and effectively with adults and children.

Serve customers in the uniform shop, conduct uniform fittings and process sales through our POS system.

Assist in Receiving stock, replenish stock in the shop and process online orders.

Reconcile daily sales and bank cash takings.

Answer phone calls and emails in a professional and timely manner.

Skills and Experience:

Excellent customer service skills

Well organized and good attention to detail.

Previous retail experience is good but not essential.

Basic computer skills such emails, Point of Sale

A Police check and Working with Children check will be required before commencing but we will help obtain this with the successful applicant.
