About the role

We are seeking an experienced Cafe Chef to join our team at CAFFE CHERRY BEANS TAIGUM' in Taigum, QLD. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of delicious meals for our customers. Working in our vibrant cafe environment, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional dining experience.

What you'll be doing

Prepare, cook and present a range of cafe-style meals, including breakfast, lunch and snack items

Ensure all meals are prepared to the highest quality standards and in a timely manner

Collaborate with the front-of-house team to understand customer requirements and preferences

Maintain a clean, safe and organised kitchen environment

Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations

Share your expertise and train junior kitchen staff as required

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years' experience as a Cafe Chef or similar role

Experience must be specifically in cafe or restaurant cooking environments

Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and presentation

Excellent time management and multitasking abilities

Passion for creating delicious, high-quality cafe dishes

Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Qualifications in Commercial Cookery or equivalent preferred
