Business Services Manager

Our client is a very well-respected mid-tier accounting and advisory firm known for its supportive culture, quality client relationships and strong leadership team. With continued growth across the firm, they're looking for an experienced Business Services Manager to step into a key leadership role.

The Role

You'll be working closely with the Partners and a capable, well-trained team to deliver accounting, tax and business advisory services to a diverse client base. This role offers genuine ownership, from managing workflow and reviewing complex client work, through to delivering business advice, developing your team and building trusted client relationships.

Day to day, you will:

• Oversee a portfolio of clients across a range of industries.
• Review and guide staff in the preparation of financial statements, tax compliance, budgets, forecasts, cashflows and management reports.
• Provide strategic advice to help clients improve performance and achieve growth goals.
• Manage team productivity and ensure deadlines are met.
• Coach and develop staff to reach their professional potential.
• Join in the business development activities.

About You

You're a hands-on leader who enjoys working with people as much as numbers. You understand the pace and expectations of a public practice environment and take pride in delivering a high standard of work.

We're looking for:

• Completed CA or CPA qualification.
• Strong technical knowledge and confidence with cloud-based accounting systems.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A proactive mindset and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Australian working rights.
