Senior Accountant – Procurement Finance (Hospitality Sector - 4 Month Contract)

About the Role The Senior Accountant – Procurement Finance will support regional procurement finance team for the MEA APAC region. The position is responsible for maintaining strong financial control, ensuring accuracy across reconciliations, and partnering closely with procurement leaders to drive process improvement.

• Manage the accounting and reconciliation processes for procurement activities across the MEA APAC region
  
  
• Complete balance sheet, revenue, and accounts receivable reconciliations
  
  
• Prepare and issue AR reminder letters, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution
  
  
• Partner with the MEA APAC Procurement Controller and Head of Procurement Pacific on financial reporting and process enhancement
  
  
• Support month end and year end close processes including journals, accruals, and analysis
  
  
• Provide financial insights to procurement and operational teams to improve accuracy and efficiency
  
  
• Assist with audit requirements by preparing reconciliations, reports, and supporting documentation
  
  
• Identify and implement improvements to procurement finance workflows and reporting
  
  

Skills & Experience

• Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
  
  
• CPA or CA qualified (or working toward completion)
  
  
• Proven experience in financial or management accounting within a complex or multi-entity environment
  
  
• Background in procurement finance, commercial accounting, or shared service operations highly regarded
  
  
• Strong understanding of balance sheet control, revenue reconciliation, and AR management
  
  
• Skilled in stakeholder engagement, with confidence liaising across finance, procurement, and operations
  
  
• Proficient in ERP and reporting systems such as SAP, Netsuite, Concur, Calumo, or Pronto
  
  
• Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
