About the Role
Flinders University City Campus has an exciting opportunity for a Coordinator, City Campus Services. The City Campus Services Coordinator will be a pivotal member of the leadership team, and will provide operational support to the Senior Manager, City Campus Services in the implementation and ongoing operations of core, integrated support services for students, staff and external stakeholders.

In this multi-faceted role, you will provide high level customer-focused support and be an escalation point for the front-line City Campus Services team. This will include triaging complex and high volumes of support services across a broad range of stakeholders and for ensuring an effective warm referral and integration process between front-line services and specialist support services.

As the City Campus Services Coordinator, you will also be accountable for:

  • Supporting the effective operational management of the City Campus Services team operations, resourcing cycle, and service performance. This includes ensuring quality and consistency of service delivery, planning adequate resourcing to meet support demand, and delivering student and stakeholder services to agreed standards.
  • Coordinating communication activities to ensure students and staff are kept informed of relevant information across the City Campus digital communications channels.
  • Providing high quality enrolment and course advice, managing complex student enquiries to case resolution, and contributing to the development and delivery of enrolment information and documentation.

The incumbent will be required to work within the City Campus hours of operation, these being 8am to 8pm. Hours of work may be undertaken on a rostered arrangement.

About You

As the City Campus Services Coordinator, you will be a motivated individual with sound knowledge and experience working in the Higher Education sector. You will be a proactive and innovative leader, with the ability to deliver excellent customer service, foster positive relationships and inspire a working culture of support, recognition, and ongoing development.

You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills to proactively engage with staff, students and stakeholders through constructive and collaborative interactions. Your organisational skills and high attention to detail will be the key to your success as you demonstrate your ability to exercise judgment and initiative in a fast-paced environment, whilst ensuring that you meet competing deadlines.

In addition to the above, you will also demonstrate:

  • Effective customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop, maintain and enhance relationships with students, staff and other stakeholders through constructive and collaborative interactions.
  • Experience providing operational leadership in customer service environment to deliver service excellence and inspiring a working culture of support, recognition and ongoing development.
  • Demonstrated well-developed to high-level complex problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills in sensitive customer service contexts
