Senior Community Engagement Officer
- Location Parramatta with 50% in office attendance
- Fixed term (3 year) full-time opportunity (35 hours per week)
- Clerk Grade 9/10 - $129,464 to $142,665 plus superannuation and leave loading

Homes NSW brings together housing and homelessness services under one roof to deliver more social and affordable housing, end the cycle of homelessness, and provide quality public housing to over 262,000 tenants. We put people at the heart of everything we do—our clients and our staff.
Your role
As a Senior Community Engagement Officer, you will lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of stakeholder engagement strategies across a range of housing-related projects. You'll work closely with internal teams, external stakeholders, and service providers to ensure project outcomes are achieved with empathy, efficiency, and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage stakeholder engagement plans for complex projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Monitor engagement effectiveness and provide strategic advice.
- Lead project teams and ensure delivery of key milestones.
- Provide expert advice on emerging issues and project risks.
- Undertake research to support evidence-based decision making.
Preferred Experience
We are seeking candidates with experience in State Significant Development (SSD) applications, particularly in the context of community engagement. Familiarity with SSD processes, stakeholder consultation requirements, and planning frameworks will be highly regarded.
