Senior Software Engineer - Java

As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll shape architecture and deliver mission-critical features in a high-performing, collaborative team. You’ll take ownership of design, write exceptional code, and drive best practices in modern Java engineering.

The team is also actively exploring opportunities to embed AI and machine learning into the platform from intelligent automation to real-time insights and decision support. This is your chance to influence how AI is implemented across one of the world’s most ambitious digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain large-scale Java applications and microservices, primarily using Spring Boot and related frameworks, ensuring high performance, scalability, and maintainability across distributed systems.
• Lead the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, solution design, implementation, automated testing, deployment, and post-production support, following Agile delivery methodologies.
• Drive cloud-native development initiatives, leveraging modern infrastructure tools such as AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI) to enhance automation and delivery efficiency.
• Skilled at working to build alignment, drive decision-making, and communicate transparently

What you will work on:

• Java 21, Spring Boot 3, Spring Cloud
• Lightweight frameworks like Micronaut or Quarkus for fast, scalable microservices
• Kafka, gRPC, and REST APIs for real-time and event-based communication
• AI/ML integration Tools
• Good exposure to other languages is always a great plus for us!
