Solargain North East Victoria is seeking an organised, reliable and experienced A Grade Qualified Electrician to join our team on a full-time basis, servicing residential and small commercial solar and battery installs across North East Victoria. Applicants must be a team player with a positive attitude and a high level of initiative. Polite and effective communication skills are a must as this position will also involve interactions with customers and co-workers.

Tasks and responsibilities.

Working within our Solar Install Team, this Leading Hand position will provide a diverse range of electrical work, including but not limited to:

Electrical switchboard upgrades, underground cable installs and 3-phase upgrades

General electrical fault finding and residential electrical wiring

Battery and solar installations, solar service work and hot water system installs

Bench testing and warranty work for leading National and International manufacturers

Ensuring that you and your team of apprentices achieve outstanding day-to-day results, compliance with WH&S and electrical regulations

Skills and experience

Experience and a proven track record of solar installations is desirable but if you are driven and willing to commit to a career in the renewable energy space, we will provide all training to become a leader to the right candidate.

SAA solar and battery accreditation (preferred)

'A' Class qualified electrician licence

Current Australian driver’s licence
