JCPRP Senior Health Clinician
Are you an experienced clinician looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of vulnerable children and families? As a Senior Health Clinician within the Joint Child Protection Response Program (JCPRP), you will play a pivotal role in delivering trauma-informed, evidence-based clinical services within a highly collaborative, multi-agency environment.
In this senior role, you will represent NSW Health and work in close partnership with NSW Police and the Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ) to ensure a coordinated, compassionate, and effective response to child protection matters. You will bring your advanced clinical expertise, professional judgment, and leadership to complex investigations where children, young people, and their families are referred to the service.
As the Senior Health Clinician, you will also provide clinical supervision, management duties and ongoing learning and development to the JCPRP Health Clinicians.

Remuneration: $119,206.00 - $129,171.00 per annum (+ super +17.5% leave loading where applicable)

Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:
Relevant Tertiary qualification (Social Work, Psychology) with AHPRA registration or eligibility for membership to the relevant Australian peak body (AASW).
Extensive specialist knowledge of child protection issues surrounding child sexual assault, physical abuse and neglect of children and family violence; or a high level of broad generalist knowledge within their discipline
Demonstrated skills, experience and knowledge of the provision of crisis, therapeutic and other clinical responses to victims of sexual assault, physical abuse and neglect of children.
Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly both verbally and written, with an ability to engage children and young people.
Ability and willingness to participate in Violence, Neglect and Abuse coverage when necessary
- Extensive experience in the provision of counselling and/ or experience within NSW Health/ Albury-Wodonga Health or other relevant Health Service.
