Our client is a values-driven not-for-profit committed to empowering individuals and communities through inclusive, person-centred mental health services. As a key provider of youth mental health care in regional Queensland, they deliver evidence-based therapies in a safe and culturally responsive environment. Now expanding their Youth Enhanced Services (YES) program, they are looking for a senior clinician to help elevate service standards and support a skilled, compassionate team.

  • Provide clinical oversight, mentoring, and supervision to junior clinicians
  • Drive service delivery in line with program targets and quality standards
  • Engage with local stakeholders to strengthen referral pathways and collaborative care
  • Utilise face-to-face and digital modalities to reach clients across the region
  • Contribute to program development and promote best-practice models of care

We're seeking a dynamic, experienced clinician with a passion for working with youth and leading change.

You will ideally have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling, Mental Health Nursing, Occupational Therapy or a related discipline
  • Extensive experience providing therapy to adolescents and families
  • Strong knowledge of trauma, social determinants of health, and youth-specific mental health challenges
  • Advanced skills in evidence-based interventions (e.g., CBT, DBT, ACT)
  • Proven ability to lead teams and deliver clinical supervision
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Essential requirements:

  • Current registration/eligible with a relevant professional body (e.g., AHPRA, AASW)
  • National Police Check and Working with Children Check
  • Valid Driver's Licence
  • Willingness to travel locally as required
  • Has experience working with severe mental health presentations.

What's On Offer

  • Competitive salary + salary packaging options to increase your take-home pay
  • Relocation support available for the right candidate
  • Ongoing professional development and clinical leadership pathways
  • The chance to live and work in Bundaberg, a thriving regional hub with a relaxed lifestyle, beautiful beaches, and easy access to the Great Barrier Reef
  • A genuine opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of young people
