Summerland Support Services is seeking committed and compassionate Support Workers to join our growing team in the Northern Rivers. These roles focus on supporting young people and individuals with psychosocial disabilities, including those living in Supported Independent Living (SIL) environments.

Support individuals to build independence, confidence, and meaningful participation in daily life. These roles include working in SIL homes and community settings, supporting people to achieve their goals through recovery-oriented, trauma-informed practice.

About Us

Summerland Support Services is a Northern Rivers based Registered NDIS Provider delivering person centred support with a strengths based approach. We specialise in complex support needs, psychosocial disability, Supported Independent Living (SIL), support coordination, and community engagement across the region.

About You

You are dependable, proactive, and passionate about supporting people to live the life they choose. You demonstrate professional boundaries, strong communication, and an ability to remain calm and confident in dynamic environments.

Highly Regarded Experience

Supporting youth or young adults to build independence and life skills

Working with participants with complex psychosocial disabilities

Trauma informed and recovery oriented support

Experience in SIL or residential care environments

Following Positive Behaviour Support Plans and safety procedures

Preferred Qualifications

Certificate III (or higher) in Youth Work, Mental Health, Disability, or Community Services

Essential Requirements

✅ NDIS Worker Check
✅ Working with Children Check
✅ First Aid and CPR
✅ Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module
✅ Valid driver’s licence and reliable, fully insured vehicle
