We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Support Worker to provide person-centered support to individuals experiencing mental health challenges. In this role, you will assist clients in managing their daily activities, developing coping strategies, and working towards their personal goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide emotional and practical support to individuals with mental health conditions.

Assist clients with daily living skills, community engagement, and social activities.

Implement care plans and support strategies tailored to individual needs.

Promote independence and empower clients to make informed decisions about their well-being.

Monitor and report on client progress, noting any changes in mental health.

Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, families, and support networks.

Ensure a safe, supportive, and respectful environment for clients.

Requirements:

Experience or qualifications in mental health, disability support, or a related field.

Minimum 1-2 years experience in mental health or disability support is required.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Understanding of mental health conditions and recovery-oriented support.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Current First Aid, CPR, and relevant clearances (e.g., Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening).

Must be available for sleepover shifts.
