Kangaroo Transport Industries is a family owned business who have been operating for 35 + years in the transport sector and take pride in providing Service with Integrity.

We operate locally and nationally to transport and deliver a range of local and interstate freight to and from our customer sites, ensuring our supplier and customer commitments are met on schedule, safely and in good condition.

Our 12000 sqm warehouse stores a wide variety of products that also form a part of our local and linehaul freight service.

Responsibilities included, but not limited to:

Daily data entry and manifesting of freight through Jaix system

Pricing of consignment notes and manifests as per company procedures

Filing and ensuring all systems are kept up to date and accessible

POD acquittal and compliance checks of paperwork

Liasing with employees in other states as well as transport carriers

Assistance to the Operations team with daily administrative tasks

Act in a courteous and professional manner with all customers and employees

Follow all safety work procedures, adhering to company safety guidelines

To be completely aware of all company policies as provided as part of your site induction

To be presented in a neat and tidy manner at all times.

Ability to demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills.

Requirements for the position

Current Drivers licence

Transport experience would be advantageous

Responsible and reliable

Flexible

Ability to adhere to OH&S regulation and requirements
