Centre labour hire is a recently established labour hire & recruitment agency in the Australian market and we're seeking a recruitment consultant. This is a role for someone who enjoys being out in the field, building strong connections with industry professionals, and making an impact in a booming sector.

If you have a background in proactive sales and business development and love the idea of working closely with construction & trades businesses, this could be the perfect opportunity. You’ll be meeting with industry leaders, developing long-term relationships, and playing a key role in helping businesses find the right talent for their projects. This is a good opportunity to grow and solidify our presence in the Victoria market. You will be working from our Collingwood office.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong client relationships with construction companies of all sizes.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities, actively expanding your network.

Manage a temp recruitment desk in a fast-moving, high-demand sector.

Work closely with clients to understand their workforce needs and deliver tailored recruitment solutions.

Source, assess, and place top talent in key industry roles.

Facilitate interview and placement processes, ensuring great outcomes for clients and candidates alike.

About You

Proven sales and business development experience in a proactive industry – real estate, outbound sales, door-to-door, construction sales, or similar.

A confident communicator – you enjoy meeting new people, building relationships, and engaging with industry professionals.

Competitive and driven – you love setting goals, chasing results, and celebrating success.

Resilient and adaptable – you’re comfortable in a fast-paced environment and thrive under pressure.

Strong negotiation skills – you know how to influence, persuade, and close deals.

Requirements:

Full Victorian Driver's Licence or equivalent

Ability to pass Drug & Police checks

Self motivated & a willingness to achieve

At least 2+ years of Sales

Ability to work as part of a team and individually
