Motel Management Team of Two – Frankston Bay Motel
Lead, manage, and make your mark in a hands-on management role at a freshly renovated coastal property.
The Frankston Bay Motel has undergone a complete refurbishment, with stylishly renovated guest rooms and a refreshed exterior. Ideally located near Frankston Beach, our motel is set to become a sought-after stay for families, corporate travellers, and tour groups seeking comfort and convenience in a prime bayside location.
The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Management Team of Two to oversee the day-to-day operations of our well-established property.
This is a live-in role, best suited to a motivated couple or partnership that takes pride in exceptional guest service, smooth operations, and a well-presented property.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Services & Reception: Manage check-ins, bookings, and enquiries with professionalism and genuine warmth
Guest Relations: Respond to reviews and feedback promptly, maintaining consistently high service standards
Revenue Management: Monitor and adjust room rates in response to local demand and events, in consultation with the owners
Administration: Oversee operational records, manage inventory, and coordinate stock orders
Housekeeping Oversight: Recruit, train, and supervise housekeeping staff. Manage linen and towel stocktaking and ordering
Property Maintenance: Complete light maintenance and ensure the presentation of rooms, gardens, and pool areas is of a high standard
Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to Work Health & Safety (WHS), fire, and essential service requirements
*Bonus! No food and beverage requirements and minimal laundry work
To be successful, you must have:
ABN
Proven 2 to 3 years motel management experience (or similar accommodation industry experience)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with a diverse range of guests and stakeholders
High level of computer proficiency, including familiarity with Property Management Systems such as GuestPoint, with working knowledge of channel management highly regarded
Experience working with online travel agencies (OTAs), including booking.com and Expedia
Ability to live onsite, work weekends and public holidays
A current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
Willingness to participate in an online quiz if shortlisted
