About Adelaide All Fab
Adelaide All Fab is a leading structural steel fabrication and installation company based in Wingfield, South Australia. We deliver high-quality steelwork for a range of commercial and industrial projects across Adelaide.
As we continue to expand, we’re seeking an experienced Structural Steel Installer – Team Leader to join our team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong rigging, installation, and coordination skills who takes pride in quality workmanship and site safety.
The Opportunity
In this role, you’ll coordinate and support a team of Boilermakers, riggers, and trades assistants to safely and efficiently erect structural steel on a variety of projects.
You’ll work closely with project managers and supervisors to ensure all installations are carried out to drawings, within schedule, and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate structural steel installation activities on site
Interpret and work from structural and engineering drawings
Direct rigging, lifting, and placement of steel members
Ensure work is carried out safely and in line with SWMS and company procedures
Communicate with site supervisors and crane crews for smooth operations
Assist with on-site welding or fabrication adjustments as required
Qualifications & Skills
Proven experience in structural steel installation or erection
Basic or Intermediate Rigging Ticket (Essential)
Ability to read and interpret drawings accurately
Strong understanding of safe lifting and installation practices
High level of teamwork, leadership, and communication skills
White Card and current driver’s licence
Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication (advantageous but not essential)
