We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Full-Time Site Foreman/Senior Project Manager with a trade qualification (preferably a carpentry background) to manage residential, extension, renovation, and commercial projects.

* Immediate start (preferably in December)
* Based in Melbourne - service all metropolitan areas.

We are looking for a motivated, reliable, and trustworthy foreman/supervisor who has a deep understanding of the entire construction process and the methodologies of different residential projects, and who can ultimately run a highly productive site. We seek an individual who matches our highest value of integrity.

To be successful in this role, you need to have the following:
* Minimum 5 years of professional experience in residential projects (renovations and extensions). Commercial project experience is an advantage.

Experience and competence in:
* Interpreting building plans, engineering reports, and specifications.
* Planning and ordering material, trade.
* Conducting and fulfilling the daily construction checklist
* Creating weekly goals in line with the project.
* Creating weekly reports
* Creating and adhering to Project Schedules
* Establishing lead times and work durations for all sub-trade work
* Facilitating onsite meetings (Lock up, PHO, building inspectors, etc.)
* Regular efficient reports back to the Construction manager team with respect to job progress and status.
* Reaching monthly completion targets.
* Workplace Safety Management Practice audit standards.
* Maintaining a high level of quality control.
* Strong work ethic and ability to work under pressure.
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving ability.
* Punctuality, reliability, and enthusiastic attitude
* Excellent communication skills to liaise with team, customers, other trades and organisations.
* Strong ability to direct and manage a team, prioritise tasks, and adhere to time and high-quality finishes.
* Diploma in Building & Construction/ Certificate IV in Building & Construction or similar qualification.
* Trade qualification in the residential construction industry (advantage but not essential)
* Senior First Aid (advantage but not essential)
*OH&S management
* Promote good work, safe work protocols at all times, and quality control, safety inspections as required.
* Proactively work on identifying ways of reducing waste, and extras to orders and minimising construction-related errors
* Current driver's license
