Being a sports coach with Ready Steady Go Kids is a very rewarding role and the positive impact that you get to make on Tasmanian children is very worthwhile.

As Ready Steady Go Kids Tasmania prepares for further growth in 2026, we are looking to add to our team. The role includes shifts at Moonah Sports Centre, The Cricket Hub Tasmania (Kingston), New Norfolk Sports Centre and Bayview Secondary College (Rokeby). As well as our incursion program which operates out of a variety of Early Learning Centres around the current venues. Some shifts may also include holiday programs and Birthday parties/events.

Salary - Hourly rate according to Fitness Award Level 2

The Role:

- 2-4 mornings per week and must be available on Saturday & Sunday mornings

- Experience working with 1.5-6 year old children

- Physically fit and love sports

- Outgoing, energetic personality

- Must be reliable and professional

- Passionate about the benefits of exercise and teaching young children

- Coaching, childcare and first aid qualifications desirable

- Must have a current Working with Vulnerable People to be considered

- Only candidates who are available to work in and around the areas listed above should apply. Some transport of equipment between venues and early learning centres may be required.

- Hours would suit parents, PT’s and/or university students
