About the Role

As a Youth Coach, you will mentor and support young people, helping them develop confidence, resilience, and essential life skills. Your role will include:
✔ Coaching and facilitating programs
✔ Strengthening family connections where possible
✔ Supporting transitions to stable living arrangements

These positions are based at Malana – Youth at Risk Centre in Launceston, a 24/7 temporary accommodation and support service for unaccompanied children and young people aged 12-15. Working collaboratively with community partners, we aim to improve youth wellbeing and provide tailored support.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct intake assessments

Provide brief interventions, education, and information

Offer supported referrals and outreach services

Undertake case management

Promote independent and healthy living skills

What You’ll Need

Diploma in Community Services or an equivalent qualification

Current Driver’s Licence

National Police Check & Working with Vulnerable People Registration

Availability for overnight and weekend shifts

Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical
