About your new Role!

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll play a key role in driving financial accuracy, control, and insight across multiple capital and development projects. You’ll work closely with project managers, service providers and the broader finance team to deliver accurate project reporting, analysis and forecasting. This is a hands-on, business-partnering role suited to someone with strong capital project experience and an analytical, detail-driven mindset.

Key responsibilities include:

• Support the Finance Manager in managing project finance reporting in collaboration with service providers and project managers
• Ensure effective financial control and reconciliation across multiple projects, including accurate cost reporting and analysis
• Manage cost reconciliations and ensure compliance with accounting standards on an accruals basis
• Assist with variance analysis and the consolidation of project cashflow forecasts
• Assist in capitalising Work in Progress (WIP) to fixed assets and maintaining general ledger integrity
• Provide analytical and commercial support to key stakeholders to inform decision-making
• Partner with project teams to monitor and report on the financial performance of development projects
• Driving process improvements and ensuring financial discipline around key projects

About You!

• CA/CPA or similar qualification
• Proven experience in a Financial Analyst or Project Accountant role
• Experience doing project or job costing
• Strong understanding and exposure to capital projects
• Advanced Excel skills
• Excellent communication skills with a collaborative approach
• Interpersonally, you are inquisitive by nature and show resilience. You have a track record of effectively supporting senior stakeholders and you are an analytical and logical thinker
• Immediately available or can start within short notice
