Our Canning Vale WA based business has been operating for about 50 years and we have a large and loyal customer base including some of Perth's biggest new home and renovation builders. We are a premium Velux dealer and take pride in delivering excellent service and quality products to our customers.

Qualifications & experience

Trade qualification in carpentry (Certificate III) including completion of a full apprenticeship.

Previous experience installing skylights (Velux and/or tubular) is preferable but not essential as we can up-skill you

Must have valid work rights in Australia or be eligible for sponsorship

Good problem solving skills

Great communication skills - organized and at ease having a conversation with our customers whether they are builders or residential customers

Able to read and interpret house plans and drawings

Strong attention to detail and organization skills

Comfortable working on rooves and in attic spaces

Committed to safe work practices

Current and valid WA driver's license (C class)

Current Working at Heights and White Card

Current Police Clearance

Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience in residential carpentry

Physically fit and able to work at heights, lift heavy materials, and work in varying weather conditions

Tasks & responsibilities

Complete professional installation of Velux skylights, custom roof windows, tubular skylights, attic ladders, and ventilation products.

Perform skilled carpentry and roofing work, including framing, roofing and finishing tasks.

Identifying and resolving any installation or maintenance issues in a timely manner.

Liaise with customers and our office team to quote jobs, provide advice and recommendations, design the final "look".

Use your building knowledge and creativity to create a WOW for our customers.

Adhering to all workplace health and safety regulations.

Keeping our customers' homes clean and tidy while on site.
