Key Responsibilities:

• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood and other materials
• Read and interpret plans, sketches, and specifications to ensure accurate and precise construction
• Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials according to plans
• Maintain a clean and safe worksite, adhering to all safety regulations
• Work collaboratively with other team members to complete projects on time and to a high standard
• Ensure the quality of all finished work meets or exceeds client expectations

Requirements:

• Certificate 3 in Carpentry & Joinery or
• Certificate 3 in Carpentry
• Drivers License
• Construction Induction (White Card)
• Supply own vehicle and tools
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely and effectively
• Strong understanding of building codes and safety standards
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and technical drawings
• Attention to detail, with a focus on delivering quality craftsmanship
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
