Be physically fit and capable of handling manual labour and heavy lifting – this industry is demanding.

Be open to learning and implementing the B & P Carpentry processes.

Minimum of four years' experience as a qualified Carpenter, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

"A Player" attitude with genuine passion for the trade.

Exceptional experience in timber framing and stick roofing (cut on site). This is essential – do not apply without it.

Must have a minimum of 3+ years of experience in stick roofing work.

Strong working knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to overcome on-site challenges.

Current Construction Industry White Card and valid driver's licence.

Must be an Australian citizen to be eligible for this position.

What you'll be doing

Carrying out carpentry work on construction sites, incorporating all aspects of Stick Roof Carpentry, wall framing, sub-floor framing, decking and cladding, both on new builds and renovations.

Reading and interpreting, plans, and specifications to ensure work is completed to the required standards.

Using a variety of hand and power tools to measure, cut, and assemble wooden components.

Collaborating with other tradespeople to ensure the smooth completion of projects

Maintaining a safe and organised work environment, following all relevant health and safety regulations.

Providing feedback and suggestions to improve efficiency and quality.

Mentoring our apprentices to help them transition into quality tradespeople, (if you take joy from helping others learn it's a bonus)
