About the role

Want Access is seeking an experienced Spray Painter to join our team in Smeaton Grange, NSW. This is a full-time permanent position, working within our state-of-the-art facility. As a Spray Painter, you will be responsible for applying high-quality paint finishes to a variety of products, contributing to the success of our growing organisation.

What you'll be doing

Preparing surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking off areas as required

Mixing paint colours to match specifications and ensuring consistent quality

Applying paint coatings to products using spray painting equipment in a safe and efficient manner

Performing quality checks to ensure all painted surfaces meet our high standards

Maintaining a clean and organised work environment, including the proper storage and disposal of paint and other materials

Collaborating with the production team to meet deadlines and achieve targets

Identifying and reporting any issues or defects to the relevant supervisors

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Spray Painter in a manufacturing or industrial setting

Proven ability to read and interpret product specifications and work instructions

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work

Proficient in the use of spray painting equipment and techniques

Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a team environment

Good problem-solving and decision-making skills

A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation to the Smeaton Grange work site
