The Role
As the Assistant Director – Employee Engagement you will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Leading the design and implementation of employee engagement initiatives
- Managing the organisation’s recognition programs, including annual awards and special events
- Providing strategic and project management support for employee surveys and engagement metrics
- Analysing workforce data and prepare sensitive briefs, reports, and governance documentation
- Collaborating with managers to foster a high-performing and engaged workplace
- Building and maintaining productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Preparing complex corporate communications, reports, and submissions
- During key events, managing all aspects of recognition certificates
The Ideal Person
You are an experienced HR professional who has successfully led teams in complex, fast-paced environments, bringing strong stakeholder management, project management, and communication skills.
You take personal accountability for delivering high-quality outcomes while handling sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism.
Ideally, you have experience designing and implementing effective employee engagement initiatives that balance immediate business needs with long-term objectives.
Politically neutral, an Australian citizen, and holding or able to obtain Baseline Security Clearance, you thrive in environments where integrity, collaboration, and impact are key.
You are motivated by contributing to a positive workplace culture, supporting managers, and making a tangible difference across the organisation.
Salary / Rate
- $113k - $128k + Super
- 12 month non-ongoing contract
- A Baseline Security Clearance is required for this role
