What you'll be doing
As Senior Dental Technician Level 4, you’ll lead the orthodontic section within a multidisciplinary team, ensuring high-quality outcomes and fostering professional growth.
Oversee daily operations and manage orthodontic appliance production
Mentor and supervise technicians, promoting a collaborative environment
Maintain accurate patient and laboratory records to required standards
Drive innovation through CAD/CAM technologies and digital workflows
Manage procurement and ensure efficient use of consumables

Essential Requirements:
At least 6 years’ experience as a registered dental technician and maintains relevant registration; and successfully completed qualifications deemed by the Employer to be equivalent to the Advance Diploma of Dental Prosthetics (these may include qualifications in ceramics, orthodontics, implants, crowns etc).
Equivalency is to be assessed based upon the hours of study undertaken and the complexity of the course work; and show a high level of competency in the exercise of all the skills of the recognised training in accordance with the position requirements.
Selection Criteria:
Proficiency in dental laboratory conventional as well as computer-aided design/manufacturing (CAD/CAM).
Demonstrated experience in leading and mentoring junior staff within the allocated portfolio.
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, complemented by effective communication and collaboration skills.
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective working relationship with primary internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent organisational and time management skills, ability to meet pre-determined targets and deadlines.
Experience in continuous improvement, quality initiatives and implementing systems to provide high quality and excellent customer service.
Successfully completed the Diploma of Dental Technology, having at least 6 years' experience as a dental technician and relevant qualifications deemed by the employer to be equivalent to the Advance Diploma of Dental Prosthetics.
Show a high level of competency in the exercise of all the skills of the recognised training in accordance with the position requirements.
