The Flooring Sales Executive & Project Manager will be servicing our awesome clients in our designer showroom, we need someone who can measure & quote (on site & off plans), and create great relationships with our designers, architects, builders and home renovators to help them with their floors, carpets, blinds and plantation shutters requirements.

If you can estimate and quote Timber Flooring, Carpet & Vinyl, and do the associated site management, we require a motivated salesperson like you to join our friendly and established team of A-grade, team players at Mint Floors & Shutters in the Surry Hills and Caringbah Showrooms. This role is also suitable to people with experience in the timber flooring, carpet, and vinyl sales.

Base salary + superannuation + commission + bonuses + company car + phone + cost price flooring and window coverings for your own home.

Working based in our showrooms at Caringbah or Surry Hills, you will work closely with a positive, friendly, and motivated team to provide high-quality customer service, quotations, meeting sales targets, programming installations, and providing site/project management all over Sydney.

Flooring experience is essential. Sales experience and strong computer skills will also be essential for you win this role. You will be servicing new and existing clients. Internal training provided for the specific tasks. You must be able to read plans and be comfortable booking trades and running installations of your jobs.

Essential skills required:

Minimum of 3+ years of flooring industry experience is required.

Minimum of 3+ years of sales experience is required.

Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required for this position.

Computer skills essential (All of our work is done on cloud based software)

Job co-ordination skills and project management experience.

A minimum of 3-5 years of project management experience is required.

Have a professional, reliable and self-motivated attitude.

A natural drive to succeed personally and as a team.

Be reliable and have a positive approach to working and solving problems (not just reporting them)

Time management skills to be effective in achieving targets, not just be "busy".

Achieve monthly sales targets, and exceed them for growth in your career.

Taking responsibility for client management and outcomes.

Have experience in the flooring or building industry.

Demonstrate sales experience by successfully managing customer queries in a professional and objective manner.

Be able to read and measure off building plans using adobe measure tool.

Measuring and preparing quotes.

Show confidence with verbal and written communication skills.

Hold a current driver's license.

Have highly competent computer skills including experience with Outlook, Excel and adobe and any accounting system software or CRMs.

Have a "customer first" approach and be willing to work with the client from the planning phase right through to completion of their project.
