RECEPTIONIST:
Join the dynamic team at BEACH CLUB RESORT MOOLOOLABA as a casual Resort Receptionist. In this varied and exciting role, you will be the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless experience throughout their stay.
What you'll be doing
Greeting and assisting guests at the front desk, providing a warm welcome and ensuring their queries are promptly addressed
Handling check-in and check-out procedures, as well as processing payments and managing guest accounts
Providing information about the resort's facilities, services and local attractions to enhance the guest experience
Effectively managing guest inquiries and complaints, identifying solutions to ensure guest satisfaction
Maintaining accurate records and reports related to guest activity and the resort's operations
Supporting other departments such as Housekeeping and Maintenance
Data entry
Some account/invoicing data entry
Property management certificate required or willing to achieve one
Liaising and giving direction to outside trades coming to site

What we're looking for
Proven customer service experience, ideally in a hospitality, property management or tourism setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deliver outstanding service
Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities to handle guest inquiries and concerns effectively
Proficiency in using relevant software and booking systems. Resly experienced preferred but not necessary as training can be provided.
A flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
A positive, friendly and professional demeanor
What we offer
At BEACH CLUB RESORT MOOLOOLABA, we are committed to providing our employees with a supportive and rewarding work environment. Monthly shifts would consist of weekly Monday 9am to 4pm, Tuesday and Wednesday 9am - 2pm, fortnightly Sundays 9am - 12pm and one Saturday per month 9am to 4pm. Additional shifts will be required when the manager is on leave including being on call after hours during these periods.
HOUSEKEEPER:
Join the dynamic team at BEACH CLUB RESORT MOOLOOLABA as a casual Housekeeper. In this varied and exciting role, you will be the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless experience throughout their stay.
Job Purpose:
To provide high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and comfort in guest rooms and hotel public areas, ensuring an excellent guest experience and maintaining the hotel’s reputation.
Key Responsibilities:
🛏️ Guest Room Cleaning
Clean and tidy guest rooms according to hotel standards.
Make beds, change linens, and replace towels etc.
Dust, vacuum, and mop floors.
Clean bathrooms — sanitize toilets, sinks, showers, mirrors, and tiles.
Replenish amenities (toiletries, coffee/tea supplies, stationery, etc.).
Check that all lights, appliances, and furniture are in good working order.
Report any maintenance issues or missing items to the supervisor.
🧽 Public Area Cleaning
Maintain cleanliness in hallways, lobbies, elevators, and stairways.
Clean and polish furniture, glass doors, and decorative fixtures.
🧺 Laundry and Linen Duties
Sort, collect, and deliver linens to the laundry area.
Ensure proper stock of clean towels, sheets, and blankets.
Handle laundry with care and report any damaged items.
🧴 Supplies and Inventory
Restock housekeeping trolleys with supplies before each shift.
Report low inventory or equipment issues to the supervisor.
😊 Guest Interaction
Greet guests politely when encountered.
Respond promptly to guest requests (e.g., extra towels, pillows, or cleaning).
Respect guest privacy and follow “Do Not Disturb” signs and protocols.
⚠️ Health, Safety, and Standards
Follow hotel safety and hygiene policies.
Handle cleaning chemicals safely and according to instructions.
Adhere to lost and found procedures for any guest belongings.
Skills and Attributes:
Strong attention to detail
Good time management and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical stamina for standing, bending, and lifting throughout shifts
Professional appearance and courteous demeanor
Ability to login to our software system & use this program
Qualifications:
High school diploma (preferred but not required)
Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience (especially in hotels) is an advantage
Training provided in hotel cleaning standards and safety procedures
Typical Working Hours:
Rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays
General hours 9am - 2pm
