Due to an internal promotion within the team, we're excited to share an incredible opportunity within The Gordon’s Skills and Jobs Centre! We’re on the lookout for a passionate, driven, and people-focused professional to join our team as a Career Practitioner.

This impactful role, funded by the Victorian Early Leaver Connection Initiative (VELCI) Career Advice Service (CAS), is your chance to empower early school leavers aged 20 years and under across the Geelong, Surf Coast, and Colac regions. You’ll work directly with youth who haven’t completed Year 12, guiding them toward brighter futures through personalised career advice and meaningful pathways into education, training and/or employment.

About You – You’re someone who:

• Holds a Graduate Certificate in Career Development, Certificate IV in Career Counselling, or has relevant experience in the field.
• Thrives in dynamic environments and brings resilience and flexibility to every challenge.
• Currently has and can continue building strong, respectful relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including:
• Secondary schools
  TAFE and VET providers
  Community organisations
  Government agencies
  
• Is passionate about youth empowerment, helping young people build confidence, discover their strengths and develop transferable skills.
• Believes in the power of career guidance to change lives and is ready to be a trusted mentor and motivator.

Salary Range:

PACCT Level 5 - $78,122 - $83,948 p.a + Superannuation
