Optiform is an established Allied Health Practice located in Ballarat delivering best practice support and intervention to individuals across Victoria. Our highly experienced clinical team offer Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy and Behavioural Support to individuals of all ages.
Our Speech Pathologists provide a range of services including assessment and treatment of children, adolescents and adults with a range of difficulties including Voice Disorders, Acquired Brain Injury, Stuttering, Early Intervention, Language disorders, Articulation and Phonology, Literacy Learning, Dysphagia and Swallowing. Caseload and Service Provision
This role will offer a mixed caseload that suits your experience and career goals.
Our team enjoys the flexibility of providing a combination of support opportunities - from the clinic, in the community, schools, the patient’s home or via telehealth.
About our New Graduate/Early Career Training Program
You will be a part of a comprehensive New Graduate/Early Career Training Program to be delivered over the course of this unique two-year role (with the opportunity to extend afterwards), enjoying the best of what private practice has to offer.
You will receive specific training and clinical experience in a wide range of Speech Pathology practice areas, including a number of speciality practice areas unique to Optiform. This role will also include training and opportunity to work with our adult-based Speech Pathology services.

Swallowing and dysphagia management;

Supervision & Professional Development

Our multidisciplinary team has extensive experience and will offer supervision, professional development and mentoring to suit your needs as a developing clinician.
Your individual Professional Development program will include individual, discipline-specific, multidisciplinary and external professional development.
Optiform’s managing directors each have at least 25 years’ experience in their fields. They continue to work at a clinical level and remain engaged in professional development like all of our clinicians.
Our senior clinicians are also highly experienced with many years of experience in their fields. Our clinical leads have worked in multiple domains within metropolitan, regional and rural services. They have lectured at University level and maintain close connections in each of their professional fields.
The experience and expertise of our Directors, Clinical Leads and Senior Clinicians provides an additional level of opportunity to our New Graduates and Early Career clinicians.
Salary & Benefits
We offer generous salary packages with additional benefits including:
Generous, above award wages;

Salary: $70,000 – $90,000 per year (based on full time work)

o Masters or Graduate Entry
o Previous experience in Allied Health or other related Professional experience
o Other factors determined by Optiform

About you
You have:
Commitment to integrity, kindness and respect for others
Relevant tertiary qualification and current registration
Eligibility for membership with Speech Pathology Australia
Professional insurance
Experience with an adult caseload (via previous employment or through clinical placement) is desirable but not essential
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work within a team, communicate with patients, families and medical professionals.
Current NDIS worker screening
Flexibility to work across different sites and with different caseloads
Strong skills in the areas of anatomy and neurology
