We’re on the lookout for a passionate and driven Site Manager to lead both our Learning and Lifestyle Centre and Community Access Services in Norman Gardens, Rockhampton.

This is a full-time, permanent role where you’ll shape meaningful experiences and empower individuals to thrive.

💼 What You’ll Be Doing

As Site Manager, you’ll be the heartbeat of our community hub—leading a dynamic team and delivering person-centred support that builds independence, confidence, and social connection.

As Site manager you will manage the day-to-day operations of our Rockhampton Learning and Lifestyle Centre. Learning and Lifestyle Centres are designed to provide fun, community-focused experiences where individuals can learn new skills like cooking, managing money, and social interaction, while also engaging in enjoyable activities like arts, music, and sports. These services are offered in a supportive environment through programs, which are often tailored to individual goals and interests.

The Site Manager is also responsible for providing operational services in the delivery of outreach and home-based disability services. This role ensures high-quality service delivery, supervising staff, and ensuring staff compliance and quality client care.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide a point of contact for new client referrals and assist in manage client cases effectively.
  • Ensure service delivery is client-focused, trauma-informed, and aligned with best practice standards.
  • Provide operational leadership across both disability programs, ensuring compliance with legislation, regulatory frameworks, and quality standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement in service delivery

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Extensive experience in NDIS service delivery and disability support programs.
  • Strong understanding of government policies, regulations, and processes related to NDIS services.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of current trends and challenges in NDIS service delivery.
  • High level of cultural competency, with the ability to provide culturally safe and inclusive services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, ensuring connections to country and culture

🎯 What You’ll Bring

  • A degree in human services or a related field (essential)
  • Proven leadership in disability or other community services
  • Experience supporting people with high complex needs
  • Strong knowledge of NDIS, National Standards for Disability Services, and safeguarding frameworks
  • Excellent communication, positive attitude and team-building skills
  • Values consistent with working within the disability sector
  • Ability to manage and supervise two programs and teams
  • Honest and trustworthy with high ethical standards
  • Required checks: Blue Card, Yellow Card, National Criminal History Check, and a valid driver’s licence
