East Wimmera Health Service (EWHS) is a fully accredited small rural health service across five campuses encompassing five communities in the Buloke and Northern Grampians Shires in North Western Victoria.

The EWHS Primary Care team are seeking a Diabetes Educator to join their dynamic team working across the Health Service Campuses.

This role involves providing a high-quality assessment and education service, utilizing an interdisciplinary approach to caring for people with diabetes.

This position works towards enhancing the quality and delivery of health care by providing nursing care in the context of general practice to our hospital inpatients, community clients and residents in our residential aged care homes.

The successful applicant must have completed a Diabetes Educators Certificate or working towards completion.

Travel within the Shire will be required so a current Victorian driver’s licence is essential
