Job Summary
We’re seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in the successful delivery of Dalski’s infrastructure projects — overseeing planning, coordination, and on-site execution to ensure every project meets our standards for quality, safety, and efficiency. You’ll support our ongoing Snowy Hydro infrastructure works, based from Alexandria with regular travel to the Snowy Mountains region.
This role suits a technically driven engineer who thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys hands-on problem-solving, and values working within a close-knit, results-oriented team.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor project teams, providing technical direction and support.
Assist with the planning, coordination, and delivery of complex civil and structural works.
Manage project documentation, design reviews, and quality assurance records.
Oversee the full project lifecycle — from procurement and construction to commissioning and handover.
Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to maintain progress and compliance.
Monitor project costs, schedules, and performance metrics.
Ensure works are delivered on time, within budget, and meet all regulatory and safety requirements.
Support project managers in reporting, forecasting, and subcontractor management.
Promote Dalski’s culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement across all project sites.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
Minimum 3 years’ experience in civil, infrastructure, or major works projects.
Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Strong reporting, documentation, and coordination abilities.
Flexibility to travel to regional project sites as required.
