A leading national property group with a premium retail portfolio is seeking a driven Casual Mall Leasing Executive. You'll play a key role in boosting revenue and asset performance through strategic short-term leasing and mall merchandising initiatives.

The Role
Your key focus will be to add value to the company and shareholder wealth through identifying and maximising Casual Leasing revenue to achieve agreed objectives.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing an annual business plan to maximise mall merchandising and storage
• Prospecting for new business opportunities
• Ensuring a clear understanding of CML database is maintained and updated at all times
• Liaise with internal client representatives as required to ensure strong communication on all leasing activities and/or changes to strategy for leasing
• Negotiating mall merchandising and storage agreements
• Temporary leasing of vacant retail tenancies
• Provide current market casual rental assessment and advice to clients
• Managing mall space usage
• Liaising with the local community
• Preparing budgets for mall merchandising

About You
You’re a confident communicator with a passion for retail property and a flair for negotiation. Ideally, you’ve worked in Casual Mall Leasing or within a shopping centre management team. Candidates with a background in commercial or residential leasing will also be considered.

Strong interpersonal skills, negotiation skills and the ability to work autonomously or within a team environment are essential. A degree in commerce, business or marketing would be advantageous.
