Growth has led to the CFO needing a right-hand person to take responsibility for core financial and management accounting tasks with this successful, growing, privately owned group. With an impressive list of projects under their belt, and an exciting pipeline of medium-density residential and commercial developments, this newly created role provides a tremendous opportunity for a career-driven ‘up and comer’.

In this broad hands-on role, and under the guidance of the CFO, you will:

• Prepare monthly management reports and cash flow forecasts
• Manage BAS, PAYG and statutory compliance
• Oversee the head office payroll, rec's and day-to-day accounts
• Support budgeting, forecasting and project reporting
• Liaise with auditors and tax advisors as needed
• Work closely with the accounts team and oversee their workload
• Drive process improvements and efficiencies

To be considered for this role, and to be successful, you will need to have a sound base of accounting skills (perhaps 3-4+ years). Your experience may have been gained in a mid-tier accounting firm where you have been hands-on with your client’s accounting work, or directly within a property/construction/development-focused group.

The role will be based in Richmond, four days per week, once you are up to speed. There will be a lot of communication with interstate leaders, so your clear communication and proactive nature will be well received. Remuneration shall be $100k + super.
