Start and finish times are negotiable with our participant and his family.

Our client is a 13 year old boy.

Our client has a keen interest in gaming and going out in the community to partake in activities.

Blackbutt, QLD:

Inactive Sleepover Shifts

Our client has an indoor pet dog, you must be comfortable with animals.

Our client would prefer a mature aged worker.

What you'll be doing:

Assisting our client with daily living activities such as grocery shopping, meal preparation and household tasks

Providing companionship and engaging clients in recreational and social activities (movies, bowling, library, arcade, Zumba etc)

Providing transportation to appointments and social activities

Advocating for clients' needs and preferences, and supporting them to make informed decisions

Documenting client progress and maintaining detailed records of care

What we're looking for:

Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting individuals with disabilities to live their best lives

Ability to work in a team

A willingness to work a flexible schedule (12 hour shifts 8am-8pm, days and 8pm-8am nights)

What you need:

ABN (Australian Business Number) – we can assist you with this if needed.

Blue Card (Working with Children Check) – we can help you obtain this.

Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance – support available if required.

A valid driver's licence and reliable car.

Comprehensive car insurance and roadside assistance.
