We are currently seeking an experienced Garden Sales Assistant to join our expanding Mitre 10 Milton store. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing advice and assisting the needs of customers.

This will be a full-time role offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment which will allow you to further develop your skills. Predominantly Monday to Friday shifts and weekends if required.

The role:

Welcoming and assisting customers

Processing sales through our POS system

Merchandising and maintaining store standards

Providing product knowledge and recommendations

Answering phone enquiries

Ideally you will have/be:

Minimum 1-2 years customer service experience with horticulture knowledge/experience

Retail nursery level horticulture knowledge and experience required

Ability to handle heavy lifting up to 15kg

Excellent customer service skills

Team oriented with a positive and enthusiastic attitude

Strong communication both written and verbal

Available to work between 6:30am and 5:00pm Monday to Friday and 7am to 1pm Saturdays
