We are opening the second in our series of flagship ocean focussed outdoor retail locations named Gowings Pacific Trader in the Port Central shopping centre this November. Alongside our company brands of FCS, Softech, Gorilla Grip, Alvey and Hydro we will have the latest in innovative outdoor brands, providing Port Macquarie customers with a brand new shopping experience.

About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Retail Sales Assistants to join our team in the Gowings Pacific Trader Port Macquarie store. This role is perfect for someone who is not only customer-focused but also has a genuine love for the ocean and being outdoors.

We are looking for full time, part time and casual staff. Please note in your application which type of employment you are looking for along with your ideal number of hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and personalised customer service

Assist customers in choosing the right surfboard, reels, rods, and accessories for their needs

Share product knowledge and fishing advice with customers

Process sales through the POS system and handle transactions accurately

Assist with stock management, merchandising, and store presentation

Support the wider team in creating a welcoming in-store experience

About You

Previous retail or customer service experience essential

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Reliable, motivated, and eager to learn

Ability to work both independently and as part of a small team

Available to work weekends and peak retail periods as required
