Are you a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS)? We’re seeking dedicated Casual RNs to join our supportive team in Nowra, delivering daily infusions of RADICAVA (edaravone) to patients living with ALS.

About the Program: RADICAVA is indicated for adults diagnosed with ALS - a progressive neurodegenerative disease affecting nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord. This program supports patients who are:

Independent in activities of daily living

Have normal respiratory function

Are within two years of disease onset

You’ll be part of a collaborative nursing team, sharing the load of daily infusions to ensure continuity of care and support for patients throughout their treatment journey.

Treatment Schedule:

Initial Cycle: Daily infusions for 14 consecutive days, followed by a 14-day drug-free period

Ongoing Cycles: Daily infusions for 10 days within a 14-day period, followed by a 14-day drug-free period

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and administer RADICAVA infusions

Monitor patient responses and escalate concerns as needed

Maintain accurate documentation and uphold clinical standards

Provide empathetic, person-centred care in a home or community setting

What You’ll Need:

Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse

IV infusion experience

Strong clinical judgement and communication skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Flexibility to work across a rotating schedule
