About the role

Permanent full time opportunity to provide leadership, management and strategic direction to the Revenue Control, Revenue Recovery and Private Practice administration teams, in a manner that drives efficiency, adds value to the organisation and fosters a culture of continuous improvement across the organisation. The role will provide expert advice in accordance with legislative and policy frameworks to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of revenue financial governance and to drive and implement Own Source operations that will optimise collections for Metro North Health Service (MNH).

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Lead the revenue transactional function that ensures timely, accurate and reliable capture of information.
  • Lead the revenue teams in providing high quality, patient focused account processing to ensure patients financial journey is seamlessly managed from end to end, including operations of the private practice administrative billing function to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Operationalise the strategic direction of the own source revenue function to ensure revenue is maximised and revenue leakage and debt write-off is minimised.
  • Provide advice on strategic revenue opportunities and related changes in legislation, analysis of own-source revenue generated against key performance indicators and development of policy, procedures and associated business rules.
